The Day before I turn 27
Being almost 27 is strange. Being an adult is strange. Lots of tough decisions to make and lots of choices to be made. I'm so happy I live in California but as of now I'm trying to decide what is next for my life. But life is funny as we don't have a crystal ball. Always taking things a day at a time, making the most of my days. I think this week I will buy myself a bike so I can go on bike rides more often. It is something I love to do. Joel and I celebrated my birthday with Thai food and a romantic walk around Balboa Island. It's a great place. I haven't done any kind of photoshoot in ages--so perhaps I'll try to get out there this week and take some pictures. I'm sort of over Instagram. I don't love what it is doing to our society, and the next generation. So I'm trying to get myself off of there, go on from time to time but not obsess over it. As some one with creative feels it's hard not to want "the perfect feed" but that's so dump. Most of Instagram is just advertising anyway. I'm a sucker for cool photos but I think I like Tumblr and Pinterest the best.
I snapped this photo while dealing with some housing stuff during church. I love that I live in a place where there are palm trees and cool cars. My only wish is that I had more evenings to enjoy it. Maybe I'll have perfect sunset evenings one day.
