YOU GUYS! I forgot to post this one from February…and fun fact I was 30 minutes away from missing this party completely. This was had been in the books for a while and I believe I had already been paid. It was the weekend of my own kids birthday party I didn’t think I booked any events for that weekend. I had decided to check my planner for some reason before having a nice Sunday nap. I quickly took a double take at my schedule. Oh boy! And guess who didn’t even have the event address—The event starts in 30 minutes mind you. Most of my events/sessions are in scottsdale so I was totally panicked. MIRACULOUSLY this event was in gilbert 10 minutes from my house. I showed up looking a little disheveled and tired (I usually like to do full or partial glam for events and parties) but we made it and I’m so glad I did! Kristina was such a joy to meet and photograph her sweet family. And can we talk about THE DRESS. it took everything in me not to pull her aside and only photograph her. The bow, and the shoes I was totally obsessed. Another bonus was I got to see a cute vendor friend of mine (also named Kristina) who does iphone content. She’s one of my favorites so I was so happy to see her.
Anyway, loved this event. I’m so glad I checked my planner, and didn’t miss it. Also received the sweetest thank you card from my client. It’s the little things you guys, truly. It made my whole week.
